Your Story Counselling Services

My name is Antonia, and I am a therapist intern at Your Story Counselling Services under the supervision of Judy Lui, registered psychotherapist. I am currently a student at Yorkville University in my masters of arts in counselling psychology. I hold a degree in psychology from the University of Toronto and a graduate certificate in infant and early childhood mental health from Seneca College. I have four years of experience working for the school board as a special education assistant with students identified with developmental delays such as Autism and behavioural issues such as Opposition Defiance. I also have volunteer experience in grief and trauma as a patient family care coordinator with the University Health Unit. I hold a degree in psychology from the University of Toronto, and a graduate certificate in infant and early childhood mental health from Seneca College. In my studies I have learned and practiced CBT, SBT, MBCT, and TBCT choosing these as my therapeutic preferences. I aim to pursue my professional development through the practicum experience and create a non-judgemental safe space where clients can feel free to express themselves and build on their strengths. It is my belief that we all possess the ability and capability to break through barriers and overcome obstacles in a collaborative journey towards mental wellness and personal success.
