Are you figuring out your sexual orientation or gender identity, perhaps coming out to friends and family in a more marginalized community? Are you an LGBTQ+ immigrant, or the child of immigrants trying to figure out your authentic self? Are you a queer or trans youth or a parent, navigating school, family or relationship dynamics? Have struggles with gender identity, sexual orientation, and/or trauma left you feeling depressed, anxious, hurt, confused or stuck?
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW), and have extensive experience of over 15 years providing individual, family and parent therapy. I offer virtual and in-person therapy with ThriveWell Counselling in downtown Toronto. I can work with you on themes that include sexual orientation and gender identity, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, loss, family conflict, relationship issues, abuse, illness, immigration, life transitions and other mental health challenges.
Working with both adults and youth, my approach is relational, trauma-informed and strength-based. I am passionate about building connection, trust and a supportive and safe space in which to heal pain and trauma, promote growth, and gain clarity and confidence in who you are and where you wish to be.
I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, have a deep understanding of intersecting identities as a queer immigrant parent, and can provide therapy in both English and Hebrew.
Navigating the journey to a vital, resilient life within all of our unique identities, can be challenging and leave us feeling exhausted and alone.
Contact me for a free Meet & Greet and learn more about how working together can bring your needs and wants fully into focus, and allow your whole and complete self to truly blossom.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey…
