Labour Support
As your doula, I shine the light on those dark places during the childbearing year. My goal is to work with all five of your senses to provide you with physical comfort measures, psycho-social and informational support during labour and throughout the childbearing year. Childbirth preparation is available at request to explore all options you may be contemplating. Space is provided for you to discuss your options and gather information for your labour and eventual birth of your tiny human.
Calm Baby Consults
In Calm Baby consults I help you to understand exactly what your baby is going through from a developmental standpoint and why they are crying, hard to settle, upset or struggling with something. I work with you to understand what is happening with feeding, sleeping, stimulation and teach you how to build pressure valves, decompression time and a calmer environment for your baby.
Breastfeeding Help
I offer in home evaluation, consultation and treatment plans for newborns and infants experiencing feeding difficulty. Emphasis is placed on the benefits of breastfeeding/chestfeeding your tiny human, visits include discussion on the pros and cons of alternative feeding methods. My goal as your doula/perinatal support practitioner is to foster a healthy, supportive, secure feeding relationship between you and your tiny human. Regardless of which feeding options you choose infant feeding support is provided throughout the childbearing year and beyond.
