I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Shamanic Energy Medicine Practitioner who has served hundreds of youth, adults and families in Ontario over the past 20 years.  My work is founded on integrating ancient and ancestral wisdom with contemporary clinical practices, including anti-oppression, Shamanic Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology, trauma therapy, Jungian therapy, CBT, harm reduction and recovery approaches.

I have extensive experience working with 2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC, newcomer and (dis)abled youth and adults, providing holistic counselling services for individuals, couples and families.  I am skilled in effectively supporting clients to address challenges related to depression, anxiety, gender identity, sexual identity, systemic oppression, relationships, self-harm, suicidality, substance use, addictions, trauma, intergenerational trauma, and grief and bereavement.  As a queer, racialized, (dis)abled Indo-Caribbean settler on Turtle Island, I draw on my own lived experiences as well as my professional training and experience to offer effective, compassionate, non-judgmental and affirming supports and services.

I approach my work from a deep understanding and honouring that each person brings their own unique wisdom and inherent gifts to the therapeutic experience.  Together, we work to assess and determine your needs and goals, and engage with powerful transformational tools to reinvigorate and re-establish your holistic wellness on all levels.  This may be working together to explore and strengthen your sense of self and identities, evolve limiting thought patterns and beliefs, release distressing emotions, build empowering relationships and self-advocacy, process unresolved grief and trauma, or transform other energetic patterns that suppress and oppress your well-being.  I am here to provide a safer, affirming and enlightening space in which you can attend to what is no longer serving you, reclaim your own vibrational wellness and energy, and attune to your unique power and wisdom on your journey.
