As an immigrant, person of colour and member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I specialize in supporting others who have encountered systemic oppression (this includes BIPOC, first- and second-generation immigrants, 2SLGBTQ+, and survivors of racial trauma). I also help people navigating life transitions (for example, starting a new job or shifting from hospitalization to home life), and anyone experiencing difficulties with their mood.

I believe that we all experience pain when we stop prioritizing what is truly important to us in life. I’d like to provide a space where you can speak openly about your values, the obstacles you’ve been facing, and the changes needed to build a joyful and meaningful life. My hope is that when your time together is complete, you’ll be able balance your needs with the expectations of others, approach life’s challenges with confidence and ease, and feel safe and proud being yourself.

I currently meets individuals in person and virtually. I provide support informed by my MSc in Psychotherapy and skills and techniques used in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. If any of the above resonates with you, I would love to connect and have a chat about what working together could look like. You can book a free 30 minute consultation with me by emailing shareen.rikhraj@gmail.com.
