Many of us are struggling with emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, situational, and environmental issues alone and require someone to actively listen and hold on to. Showing up and discussing mental health issues can be tough yet important.
Ria is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), she can help you with anxiety, grief, stress, job, relationships, family, trauma, behaviour, emotional self-regulation, OCD, disordered eating, educational concerns, and managing negative thoughts and feelings. I am here to help and support you to work on yourself and live a fulfilling life.
Ria has experience working with adolescents, teenagers, adults, newcomers, immigrants, 2LGBTQ2+ communities, and people from various cultural backgrounds. Ria ensures that her clients receive a nonjudgmental perspective and validation while also assisting them in maintaining stability and resilience.
Ria is an eclectic therapist, trained to provide evidence-based psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, IFS, mindfulness-trauma informed therapy, and gestalt therapy, to mention a few. She makes She thinks that each client is unique, thus she tailors the therapy approach to the client’s needs and goals.
I provide therapy in English, Hindi and Gujarati languages.
