Psychotherapy: Holly Owen

Hi there! I’m Holly (They/Them)

I’m an ACT and DBT trained therapist in the Durham Region, offering in-person and virtual services.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but with the right support, you can begin to heal and create positive changes in your life. I believe in having open conversations where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

As your therapist, I’m here to ensure you feel heard, understood, and validated. Therapy is a personal journey, and I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach to help you find the strategies that fit you best. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is key, and it’s important to me that you feel comfortable expressing yourself openly.

I’m dedicated to supporting you in addressing what’s on your mind so you can lead a more fulfilling life. I have experience working with First Responders and their families, LGBTQIA+ experiences, and issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, athlete mental health, sleep challenges, self-esteem, and school-related stress. I also enjoy supporting neurodivergent individuals. Together, we can navigate whatever you’re facing, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

I offer a range of personalized therapy services designed to support your unique journey toward healing and growth. Whether you’re seeking individual therapy or specialized seminars, my approach is integrative and trauma-informed, ensuring that you feel safe and understood. In person and virtual appointments available.
