P3 Obstetrical and Midwifery Care

This is an innovative programme of interdisciplinary obstetrical and midwifery care for HIV + people who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

We are Dr. Mark Yudin and Midwife Jay MacGillivray and we work out of St. Michael’s hospital in Toronto.

We believe that + women have the right to become pregnant and to have their care provided with both expertise and respect. Our focus is on normalizing pregnancy, on health promotion and support as well as establishing appropriate standards of care. We believe that + women have expertise about their own bodies and health which should be an integral part of any pregnancy care.
