Mnaamodzawin Health Services provides health and home care services to 5 First Nation communities on Manitoulin Island. We have mental health counsellors, healthy families resources, diabetes health promotion, personal support workers, community health nurses, meals on wheels program, as well as providing access to services such as Traditional Healers, Alternative Medicines, Footcare, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Adult and Child Psychiatry. Our 2SLGBTQ+ initiative provides services and programs for individuals and families who identify as 2SLGBTQ+. Mnaamodzawin has a Sexual & Gender Diversity Activities Coordinator, Mental Health Counsellor, and Two Spirit Elder that are exclusive for the 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and community members of Manitoulin Island.
