Get directionsAbout The MNO Victim Services Program
The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) offers culturally relevant victim services within all of its Healing & Wellness programs to address, deter, and end violence against Métis people. These services address the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual impacts of victimization, be it through domestic violence/intimate partner violence (IPV) or violent crime.
This provincial program provides culturally grounded emergency and non-emergency support, resourcing and advocacy to affected women, children, youth, older adults, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, non-binary folks, trans folks, two-spirit folks, and people living with disabilities, to help victims of violence access resources and begin their healing journey. Victim Services works with our internal branches as well as community-based service providers to support survivors of violence in their home, communities and elsewhere.
We serve Métis citizens, self-identifying Métis and non-Métis
People. Our program is OPEN TO EVERYONE regardless of status.
