Clayre Sessoms, RP, RCAT, ATR-BC
I’m Clayre Sessoms, a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with CRPO and a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), offering compassionate and affirming online therapy for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals across Ontario. As a trans and queer woman who is neurodivergent and visually impaired, I’ve purposefully created a therapeutic space where trans*, nonbinary, and queer adults feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is grounded in trans-inclusive feminism, the Gender Freedom Model, and body-centred therapy, blending talk therapy, attachment theory, art therapy, and experiential methods to ensure therapy is as unique as each person I work with. I’m also a senior facilitator of Dr. Janina Fisher’s Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment training program and a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, offering trauma-attuned, person-centred care that goes beyond gender affirmation or transition to address broader mental health concerns. Whether you’re navigating life or work-related stressors, considering ethical poly relationships, facing complex challenges related to ADHD/AuDHD, or seeking hormone and surgery readiness assessments, my sessions are down-to-earth, curious, and deeply supportive. Together, we’ll explore your story and create space for growth, healing, and change.
