Every step of our journey has an impact on who we are, how we see ourselves, and how we interact with the world around us. As someone who lives with depression and anxiety, I know that it can be tricky figuring out why our brains make our day difficult, but navigating our path to healing doesn’t need to be scary.
The ability to feel comfortable with your therapist is a key success indicator for therapeutic outcomes, and I hope to be able to build a caring and supportive relationship that encourages you to understand yourself and be able to apply therapeutic understandings to your lived experience.
I take a holistic strength-based approach filled with humor and down-to-earth conversations about life to enable the people I work with to feel good about who they are and where they are going in life. With a passion for working with children and young people, I have tailored my skill base to the needs of the developing mind.
With specific training in CBT, DBT, ACT, Trauma, Addictions, and Affirmative approaches to therapy with adolescents, I bring a solid understanding of how to develop hope and resilience in our youth years. If you’re a teen experiencing anxiety, low mood, coping through self-harm, exploring LBGTQ2SI+ identity, and navigating healthy relationships, I would love to work with you and support you on your path to healing!
