I understand how it is to reach out for help, because I’ve been there too. I offer a judgement free space where you can share your feelings and concerns. Whether you are wanting to reflect on past experiences, gain new perspectives or re-evaluate old beliefs and thinking patterns that are no longer serving you, I’m here for you.
While I’m honoured to work with all people, I am particularly passionate about supporting two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (2SLGBTQ+) youth and adults navigate their sexuality, relationships, gender and sexual minority identities and the accompanying distress and trauma caused by living in a cis-heteronormative world. I draw upon my lived experience as a cis-gender gay man from a rural community, to offer support to queer and trans communities.
As we partner together, my specific approach is tailored to your needs and goals and is informed by my training in narrative, cognitive behavioural (CBT), mindfulness based, and solution focused approaches to therapy. I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression and obsessive compulsive disorder as well as those looking for support with grief and loss, work related stress, life transitions and self esteem. As a bilingual psychotherapist I provide services in both English and French.
I am so glad you dropped by my profile and would be honoured to support you with your mental wellness and relationship goals. When you’re ready, let’s meet for an initial psychotherapy consultation to see if this is the right fit.
My services are available virtually across Ontario.
