I’m Andrea (she/her), a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist who specialises in grief counselling and education. I support individuals coping with grief, loss, and life transitions and focus on supporting those who have experienced sudden, unexpected, and out-of-order loss. I work from a trauma-informed, Intersectional, Feminist, Anti-Racist, Anti-Oppressive, and LGBTQ2S-allied perspective. I work with clients in-person in Toronto and virtually throughout Ontario.

We all grieve uniquely and our experience is deeply affected by our social location and history of loss. Grief impacts us mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to provide a supportive environment for you to explore and express your grief, in ways that make sense for you, and at your own pace.

I have experienced multiple personal losses; the most significant being the deaths of my parents in the Indian Ocean Tsunami when I was 19 years old. Through my own healing process, I have found my way to walking alongside others in their grief. I am committed to creating safe and inclusive spaces where bereaved individuals can grieve authentically and holistically.
