The Gender and Sexual Diversity Learning Module is one module of a collaborative, web-enabled medical curriculum that integrates gender and health into all aspects of medical education. This common provincial resource was produced to be relevant and widely available to undergraduate medical students and for use by all Ontario medical schools.
The Gender and Health Collaborative Curriculum Project is the work of faculty and students from the six medical schools in the Canadian province of Ontario: McMaster University, The Northern Ontario School of Medicine, University of Ottawa, Queen’s University, University of Toronto and The University of Western Ontario.
The Gender and Sexual Diversity Learning Module addresses gender and sexual diversity issues, definitions, providing culturally competent care and major health concerns of LGBTTQI adults and youth.
